Living Fast
Live Like You are Dying. If you knew that you had one or two years left to live, how differently would you live life? This is something that I always think on. If I went to the doctor today and he told me that I have some kind of serious cancer and did not have long to live, what would my remaining time on this earth look like? I would absolutely live a different life than I do now. I would take more chances, love more, forgive me, give more. So why is it that we do not live like this already? Why is it that it takes serious or life threatening situations for us to start doing these things? I want to live my life right now as passionate, loving, inspirational, and fast. You do not have your youth forever. I want to get the most out of my youth as I can. I want to love, laugh, cry, hurt, smile, make others smile, share love, share things, give things, and just impact people. I want to live a meaningful life. One that I impact and invest in others. I want to live every day like it is my last. I do not want to be confined by stress and worry. I want to live my days with love and happiness in my heart. I want to leave it all out on the field. I want to live a life that matters. If I end up dying next week, I want to be able to die with ease and know that I lived a life that I loved. I took chances when I needed, I lived in confidence and not fear, and showed love whenever I could.

New Fire
4/30/15
Been in a weird place in life lately. Graduated college, moved back to NorCal, worked a summer fighting fires, then took after some down time. Traveled to New York for New Years for ten days. Moved back down to Socal to go back to school for my teaching credential. Had a lot of down time. Did not know what I wanted with life. I knew I wanted to teach. I knew I wanted to get my credential. But all the complacency was something that I was not used to. I was not stressed for the first time in my life. I had time, money, freedom. I graduated college, which was a huge accomplishment for me. Being that I came from a family that did not hold a high priority for education. I was the first member of my family to graduate college. For me, I had made it. I was finally an independent, semi accomplished, strong willed adult. There is just so much influence from people and society about where and what I should be doing with my life. That always killed me though. If I lived life the way that others and society deemed as right, would I truly be happy. Shouldn't I just follow my heart, desires, and passion??? Not be so concerned about finding a a good job, getting a wife, buying a house, and having kids. I want to do that all one day. Absolutely. I want to fall head over heals in love with the most amazing woman I have ever laid my eyes on and spend the rest of our lives filling her life with love, joy, and comfort. But I want to be selfish right now and live out all of my passions and desires at my young age while I can. I want to see what life has to offer. I want to see what the world has to offer. What my opportunities are. I want to see the beauty, love, chaos, diversity that the world has to offer. I want to grow. I want to experience new things, people, cultures, music, food, clothes, ways of life. I want to go out and know that I have experienced life and know that I have no reservations, regrets, or questions. I want to have an understanding of the world and the people in it. I want to be well cultured, in the sense of the world. I want to understand people and love them for what and who they are. I want to see all the beautiful sights and beautiful people of the world. I also want to see the bad and ugly. I want to see the world for what it is. Through my own eyes. For most people, traveling is a distant dream. It's something they regret never doing. For me, it is going to be a lifestyle. Something that is a big part of my life and who I am. It might not be the typical life style or practical or normal, but those aren't things that I want to describe my life anyways. So for me, it is perfect. I feel like a new person just thinking about getting up and leaving. I have a new fire in me. I have a passion that I felt like was gone for so long. I feel like I have a purpose. I am driven. I feel love in my heart. I don't want this feeling to fade. I am going to feed this desire and live my life with raw, unrelenting, full fledged passion.

Perfection
"We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly."
That same quote works for each individual and loving themselves. We are all human. We are incapable of perfection. Yes we can strive for it and come close, but we will always make mistakes and mess up every now and then. And everytime we do come short and do not fully succeed, we need to learn to accept that and embrace our flaws and imperfections. If other people can't seem to look past them, then you don't need those people in your life.
"What people think about you is none of your business"
Your reputation is completely out of your hands. It is built on what other people think, and ultimately, people are going to think what they want. You cannot please everyone, but there is one person that you can absolutely please all the time, and that is yourself. Be true to who you are and accept yourself for who you are. Learn from your mistakes and move on. Forgive yourself, because God already has. It is about where you are going, not where you have been. You cannot change your past, but you can decide your future.
Set yourself free and accept that mistakes will be made for the rest of your life. It is the way you deal with and react to those mistakes that shows who you are and your true colors. Become better each and everyday. No matter what part of life it is in, improve yourself and make goals to accomplish. You have the ability and choice to make everyday what you want. Your days and your future are in your hands.

Hesitation and Fear
Why is it that people are so full of fear? There is so much hesitation in our actions, and that is assuming that we even follow through at all. Why are we so afraid of putting ourselves out there? We fear rejection or looking dumb. I do not know if it is because of how social our society has become where anything can be posted anywhere at anytime, or if appearance and status has become so important to everyone that no one is willing to compromise themselves.
We got this one life to live, so why not make it great. Do something different and put yourself out there. Your missing out on so much opportunity and chances for great things to happen. The risk matches the reward. If you always settle for the little things and dont ever go big, then your never going to get that big reward.
The best example I can think of is when it comes to women. Your standing in line one day at a coffee shop, and bam, you see the most beautiful girl in the entire world. What are you going to do? Just walk away without saying a single word and just wondering what that small conversation could have sparked into? or that girl you sit by in class and have a good connection with. Just let the semester go by without ever actually making a move or pursuing her? why not take that shot? what is it that we fear? rejection? let down? looking dumb? if the girl turns you down or it doesnt work, then you know that you are one girl closer to finding the right one. Take a risk and put yourself out there. If we were not so concerned with the outcomes of things and failing, I wonder what people would be like. probably way too confident. but at least people would not be living in fear.
If you knew that you would succeed at everything you attempted, how many more things would you try? HELLA things. thats how many.
Another thing that effs things up is that kindness is so rare and only used when there is something wanted back in return, that women take kindness as flirting and it makes the simplest of situations hella weird sometimes. Ill touch on that on another post tho. PEACE
